Psychological Services

Pre-Adoption Psychological Testing

Psychological evaluation for pre-adoption aids prospective adoptive parents in their walk to completion of tasks needed to fulfill requirements of their agency and/or country they hope to adopt from. This usually looks like interviewing and possibly rating scales of all adults in the home. A brief report is written on each individual. Paperwork like a form letter from many countries is also required.

The goal is to assess parental preparedness in relation to things like how stress is managed, mental health wellbeing, coping skills, etc.

Adoption is a journey and we wold love to be a part of your journey. Call 662-205-0464 today.
